PersonnelDr. Natan PeterfreundSensor Networks & Information Fusion Group Dr. Natan Peterfreund received the B.Sc., M.Sc. and D.Sc. degress in Electrical Engineering in 1986, 1989 and 1993, respectively, from the Technion?Israel Institute of Technology. Dr. Peterfreund received the Landau and Hollendorf scholarships for excellence in research in 1990 and 1993, respectively. From 1994 to 1996, he was a senior research engineer at the Image Processing department, Israel Armament Development Authority, and an adjunct lecturer in the Electrical Engineering Department at the Technion. Since 1996, he has been a post-doctoral fellow at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory, where he is developing a new state-of -the-art active contour model for visual tracking of nonrigid objects. Dr. Peterfreund's current interests are in visual tracking, image processing, and nonlinear dynamical systems. |
